Reviews for Prime Pacific Trading Stainless Steel Stockpot Set (Kitchen) Issue 1: The quality is terrible. I anticipated negative quality from a four pot set for $40, so I was not displeased with the chipped stainless coating nor with the skinny gauge steel.

Issue 2: I was once displeased with the false merchandising touching on the pots' quantitys. Every pot is about 25% low in extent. The "20qt" pot is set 15qt. The "8qt" pot is 6qt, and so on. Volume measurement will not be at all times correct, so here I will provide the linear measurements to calculate the amount:

The massivest pot measures 9.5" high (interior) via eleven.5" diameter (interior)

    PI * (11.5 / 2)^2 * 9.5 = 960.8 cubic inches

    960.8 cubic inches * 1 qt / fifty seven.75 cubic inches = 16.63 quarts

That is the quantity when stuffed to the brim. You may best boil about 15 quarts safely.

If all you need is four low-costly built nesting pots of volumes between 6 and 15 quarts, then that is the product for you. If you want to have higher quality or the quantitys in fact said on the packaging, discover a different product.
Reviews for Prime Pacific Trading Stainless Steel Stockpot Set (Kitchen) The hugest pot is perhaps 14Qts as delivered to me. Did no longer look proper from the scale of the field and positive sufficient I crammed a 2qt container 6 instances and dumped the water in. Pretty on the primeic of the high already.

That is why it's so low cost combined with absolutely the skinnynest metal pot I have ever viewed.
Reviews for Prime Pacific Trading Stainless Steel Stockpot Set (Kitchen) I make cheese and run a website & forum called CheeseForum.org and ordered these as I needed larger nesting - double boiler stainless metal (not aluminum) kind stockpots for warming milk and setting apart curds and whey.

These simply arrived just 6 days after ordering with free, slower delivery. As anticipated they are skinny with bottoms the identical thickness as partitions. But to act as nested double boilers for warming milk they're excellent and they stack down small with next dimension smaller lids going within backside of previous pot, with the exception of hugest lid of course. When used as double boiler, the clearance is set 1 in/2 cm on bottom and 1/2 in/1 cm on every facet. Only negative is labels failed to peel off well.

Box said Made In India and that helpful for various kinds of cooking but they forgot making cheese! Maybe they don't make cheese in India? Great value!

UPDATE #1 - Dec 2009, finally bought round to the use of the largest "20 US Quart" Stockpot, to my surprise it most effective holds sixteen US quarts and fully full, now notified Amazon of incorrect field labeling and description on their web site, they have been just proper and gave me coupon for $6.

UPDATE #2 - Jan 30 2009, used massivest stockpot again, crammed to 1 inch from prime with 4 US gallons milk for making cheese, discovered leaking from rivet gaps on every side, bailed out milk, my 5 us gallon stockpot now has a max capacity of three US gallons, posted picture of drawback at high. Cheap but bad quality, unhappy.
